Resignation Letter (Surat Pengunduruan Diri)

Setelah bekerja beberapa waktu, ada kemungkinan seorang karyawan ingin mengundurkan diri. Alasan pengunduran diri ini bisa bermacam-macam, mungkin karyawan bersebut ingin membantu usaha keluarga atau ingin membuka usaha sendiri, karena konflik dalam perusahaan, karena alasan pribadi, karena pindah pekerjaan di tempat lain yang memberikan prospek yang lebih baik, dst. Yang harus diingat adalah sesuai dengan kontrak kerja atau kesepakatan bersama, karyawan tersebut harus memberitahu rencana pengunduran dirinya secara tidak mendadak, paling tidak diajukan dua minggu atau satu bulan sebelumnya, sesuai ketentuan.

a. Dengan alasan membantu bisnis keluaga

Dear Mr. Jonathan,

In compliance with my contract, I wish to let you know that I am resigning from my presenta position effective next month, June 30, 2012.

My resignation is not all caused by any dissatisfaction with the company, but due to the fact that I have to assist my family business in Singapore. I would like to use this opportunity to thank you very much for all kindness given to me.

b. Dengan tidak mengemukakan alasan (sebelumnya sudah menyampaikan alasan secara lisan)

Dea Sir,

It is with great sorrow that I am hereby tendering my resignation to you.

Although there is much to say: believe the reasons leading to this decision are known by you, and I will therefore leave them unsaid at this time.

I appreciate having had the opportunity of being a member of PT Buana Karya for so many years and offer my best wishes for your continued succes.

d. Dengan alasan akan bekerja di tempat lain

This is to inform your that an opportunity has presented itself that will enable me to work in the area of my stated preference.

I am therefore tendering my resignation from you company and wish to advise you that June 30, 2012 will be my last day of employment.
